Wickman Brand Candle Wick Trimmer

This is the Wickman brand stainless steel Wick Trimmer, which is the premium brand on the market because it provides a sharp, clean, precise cut and catches the excess trimmings in the unique debris catching tray. Keeping your wick trimmed of the build up results in a longer, cleaner, safer burn.

Essential Candle Care: Trim the wick to 1/4' before EACH lighting to avoid a tall flame that will burn too hot, and consumes the wax quickly. Trimming the wick before each burn not only extends the life of the candle, it eliminates sooting and the glass vessel from becoming too hot to handle. 

How to trim the wick,:

1. Before lighting the candle, place the long handle of the Wick Trimmer against the inside of the jar's rim
2. Bring the curved scissor blades to the wick, parallel with the wax
3. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch
4. Dispose of the snipped portion in the trash

Never trim a burning or smoldering wick.
