Self-care Tip: Flowers can elevate your room and mood

Years ago, I purchased a set of little bud vases similar to these that were, and still are, my favorite way to dress up my dining table.

Guests ooh and ahh over my table and I am going to share my secret with you. You don't have to spend a lot of money on store-bought flowers if you use your imagination. You can stretch an inexpensive grocery store bought bouquet, or walk your yard or neighborhood and collect stems and blooms and showcase them in bud vases.

We have a beautiful native wild flower garden in our backyard that we do not groom or tend to at all, we simply let Mother Nature and the pollinators care for it, and it rewards us with gorgeous flowers Spring through Fall. 

I pick and display these blooms and foliage in those little bud vases. 

Remember: "The difference between a weed and a flower is a judgement."

And when I want to get real fancy, I place tea lights in my repurposed candle vessels and scatter those among the vases of blooms.
